During our recent visit to our flat, we were extremely surprised to find that it is significantly smaller than the area mentioned in the brochure. Based on our understanding, it appears that the builder has included the utility area and kitchen in the total measurements provided. However, this is absolutely illegal under Karnataka regulations.
To our shock, we’ve discovered that this issue is not limited to just our unit but applies to almost all the outlets. I strongly urge all fellow members of this group and other owners to verify the actual area of your flats carefully.
Considering this involves our hard-earned money and a clear case of false representation, I believe we should consider taking legal action against the builder.
