i also bought a 1.6 ton cube ac which is not at all cooling... complaints are evoking slow response.. i recommend that none to go for this cube ac.. besides it is highly noisy..

The culprit for this is the current chairman Mr J Harinarayanan with email id : chairman@irda.gov.in. who has approved such premia. I am also such a sufferer and as there was no reply to complaints to IRDA, I used the RTA and got in writing from them that this is the person who approved such rates i read more...

I am also in the same boat. From Rs.9250 premium I am forced to pay about Rs.45000/- now. Since IRDA failed to respond to mails / telephone calls, I have now complained to Insurance Ombudsman.
