Great Place this!!!

Thousand Oaks!!! The name brings back some fond memories of the place that was a regular hang-out during the days when you really had some time. Only one word can describe Thousand Oaks! "Out of this world".. four words in fact. ;-) That’s what it is, a great place to unwind with your friends (even foes), listen to some good music and chew on to some delicious starters which you never want to end. The ambience at Thousand Oaks is reminiscent of the British pubs. You have all young people coming in for a drink or two. Some have had a hard day at work and some are there to just chill out. Quite a few student populace is also visible here (that’s true with any place in Pune though). There is a seating on the outside as well for people who want to stay away from the music and have a smoke-free dinner. I personally like it on the inside where the music is great (read Loud) and there I have a choice to take the barstool or just stretch my legs on the regular table arrangement. The cost of drinks in here are a bit on the upside. If you want to go through the motions of the regular beers (Draught is a good choice) and liquors in Thousand Oaks, you can do that, but I would say that you should settle down to the "Barman’s Pitcher" ASAP!! Make it double ASAP. Now that is what I call a Drink to die for. It is a cocktail of all types of spirits and is based in rose syrup to give that taste. Trust me, it doesn’t get any better than this. One should not treat Thousand Oaks as a foodie’s spot. Nevertheless the food in Thousand Oaks does not disappoint you a great deal. It sure tantalises your taste buds with the different starters and a select few North Indian delicacies. Try the Paneer Tikka or Tandoori Gobi in your veg. starters and for non-veg. starters you can have anything that has chicken in it. The main course could have been more varied than it is now. So, let that ball rolling and let the fluids flow, cause Thousand Oaks is definitely a place to pep-up your evenings.
