Boring concept

Hello friends, I went to watch this movie 2 days ago and thought that the duo of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor would certainly be entertaining to watch. They are working together after many years and I was thrilled to watch them together but after watching the movie I was rather disappointed.

Plot: The whole film is based upon a Gujarati play which is written by Saumya Joshi. It only focuses on 3 characters and in the movie you will only see only these three characters importantly. Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of Dattatrya Vakhariya who is the father of Babulal Vakhariya which is played by Rishi Kapoor and Dharmendra Gohil is playing the role of Babulal’s son(Amol Vakhariya). Amitabh Bachchan is doing the role of a 102-year-old man who lived his life very happily. He is still young from his heart and does many silly things for fun. But Babulal is just the opposite of him and thinks that he is too old to have any fun in his life. Then the movie depicts many moves taken by Babulal’s father in order to teach him the way to live life happily ever. Amol abandoned his father and shifted to the USA and is just interested in his property.

Performance: Amitabh Bachchan is as usual best in his role and perfectly played his character but Rishi Kapoor was not that good in his role. He was looking older than Amitabh Bachchan and his actions also showed this. He failed in his role miserably. The movie too seemed dull after the first 30 minutes.

Music: The music was not interesting in this movie and was not worthy of listening more than one time. They should have worked harder in this department and certainly, it failed to attract the youth.

Cinematography: the scenes were shooted at real locations which gave it a real look and feel but the flow of the story was very slow at many moments and thus bored the audience. The youth can’t relate themselves to this film and they should have kept something in the film for youth too so that they could be interested in this movie.

So guys, its not a movie for young generation but you can recommend your grandparents to watch it.
