I love horror movies, and I was pleased when I watched 13 Ghost’s this weekend. The movie is so freaky and weird that I couldn’t help but sit on the edge of my seat and watch. I never moved, not even for a drink or something to eat. In fact I had to go to the bathroom so bad, but I held it cause I didn’t want to miss anything! So let me tell you a little about this wonderful horror movie.
13 Ghost’s
The movie is about this weird looking man named Cyrus; he wants to capture all these different kinds of ghost’s. He is trying out some sort of experiment, and he has to have a total of 13 different types of ghost’s to make it work. So when the movie begins you will see him with some of his helpers they are at some sort of abandoned car place. They have this big box that they will try to trap this ghost in, in hopes that they get it before it gets them. All of a sudden things start going wrong. Cyrus’s helpers are being killed one by one. The one helper is kind of a psychic and he survives the ghost. The problem is Silo ends up being killed by this ghost.
Then the movie takes you a few months into time. You see this man named Arthur and his wife together watching their two children playing outside. Then all of a sudden the house catches on fire and the wife ends up dieing. Arthur and his two children and the maid move into a very small house and he is trying to bring his family back together again. Then a knock comes at the door. Here it is Cyrus’s lawyer, and he has a video for his Nephew. When he listened to his uncle Cyrus’s video he was amazed. He never met this man in person, and now this man is giving him his home and all his possessions and money! This seemed odd, but Cyrus’s house was beautiful, and it was big. The kids were happy and couldn’t wait to go to their new home and start a new life.
Once they arrive at this new home they find that the whole house is all windows. You can see everything inside, nothing was hidden, and on the windows were some sort of writings. They entered the new house and were amazed at all the history of ancient times. They also were greeted by a man claming to be a power guy. He said he needed inside the house to fix the electric. We later find out this was not true, instead this man was the same man who helped Cyrus capture his ghost’s. The lawyer was crooked and all he wanted was the money. Things started to go wrong in the house, the windows began to shut and the doors all started to move into different areas. The small boy was lost in the house, and he found these glasses in his bedroom, and when he put them on and went to the basement of the house he was then able to see all different kinds of ghost’s. He even was able to see his mother.
They were all trying to find ways out of this house, but there was no way the doors were locked and shut up tight. They found out that the writings on the windows were some sort of power codes that kept the ghost’s at bay. This would help them move around in the house and not be hurt by the ghost’s. Well let’s just say that NOT everyone in the house was lucky!
Conclusion
I don’t want to go on about this movie, but I will say that things will take a weird twist. People who you think are the good guys turn out to be the ones you should have watched out for. The ones you think were the bad guys are the ones you should have on your side. The house will take it’s toll on those inside, and you will find out why this man named Cyrus wanted all those ghost’s in his home, and why he built the house the way he did. Inside the house you will see the entire 12 ghosts’ and man when you see the way they look you will be freaked out! They are wacko looking and scary! I do have to say that we still need one more ghost to make it the 13 ghost’s so who do you think is going to be the one that dies? The special affects were outstanding, and the makeup artist done a fabulous job with all the details of each ghost. The director made a great story line, and it was easy to follow. I also have to warn you ahead of time that not everything is as it seems and some are not dead whom you might think are. So I would say just watch this movie, but make sure you have someone close to you.
