Another of Stephen kings short story made into a movie. Good adaptation of the story. This movie stays true to Alfred Hitchhocks philosophy " The scare is in the expectation of the bang and not in the bang". Worth watching it. All those horror movie lovers would appreciate this movie for not being the regular running around with a knife carrying whacko in pursuit. If you guys appreciate movies like I know what you did last summer maybe this is not for you.
For people who like and read Stephen kings books then this movie is good to watch. Especially if you guys have watched the horribly made Mist movie you will appreciate what I am saying. So go ahead and watch this one.
Just an intro - A writer goes and visits all the haunted houses to write a book " Top 10 most haunted places" and discovers more than excited. He visits a room called 1408 which is in a top notch hotel to write his experiences and even when warned not too he goes ahead. Rest discover for yourself.
