I could not watch this movie when it got released...i saw in in my CD... I bought much later....rahul bose is my favourite actor, i almost have seen all his movies.seeing this movie needs no other reason - shabana azmi, konkona, rahul bose gives enough reason to go for this movie blindly. being a bengalee I saw Konkona’s 1st movie in Kolkata - EK JE ACHE KONNYA... it was just superb - beyond words and I am her fan since then....so I bought CD blindly and watched this movie.
What to say about it?? this movie is just made so perfectly - each character plays an important role - their gesture - body language - each expression carries so much of meaning which the director wanted to convey! every scene is important - not even for a single moment I feel monotonous about this movie.the back ground music suits the relevance. making a movie on a mentally challanged girl....
Who wants to live normal life like others but circumstances make her different from others - the dilemma of old mother - the responsibility and anxeity of elder sister - the typical man mentality of marrying a raped lady....shy and afraid of society....taking care of a mentally un well lady....everything is potrayed nicely...this movie is not loud but says everything what it should have said - to the point and in an asthetic way.
it leaves an deep impact - makes the viewers to think about it even after the movie - that is the success of the movie.
