Good cop vs Bad cop(s), but havent we all seen it before?
Bruce Willis stars as Jack Mosley an ageing cop who thinks life is simply too long. He gets assigned to escort convict Mos Def who is to testify against Bruces own collegues. All hell breaks loose as the cops try to kill Mos before he can testify at the court. Bruce while trying to protect the witness soon finds himself on the wrong side of law. What follows is a series of entertaining but somewhat mindless action scenes which lead to a predictable ending.
While you certainly wont get bored by watching this one you cant help but feel dissapointed at the lack of originality in this movie. Die Hard was fun when it came out and it still manages to entertain you even now. Do not expect anything of that sort with this one. See it once and forget about it.
16 blocks is a decent way to spend your evening. But do not expect anything new.
