Evil Returns is not scary at all.
Jaidev Varma(Aftab Shivdasani) is a poet who looks for a reason to live. He finds his inspiration in his fan Smriti( Tia Bajpai). The two exchange letters and fall in love even without meeting each other. Destiny brings them together, but not the way they’d dreamt. Smriti is haunted by a demon.
1920: Evil Returns has enough and more in store to scare you. It’s the perfect Halloween film you could watch if horror’s your favourite genre.
Tia Bajpai acts very well and so does an understated Aftab Shivdasani. He delivers a mature performance. Vidya Malvade has no great role, but she is good at what has been given to her.
