Horror films always attarct attention, since they are meant to be to the point with some interesting plot and yes a GHOST - The ultimate Entertainer.

Vikram Bhat was seen saying that this is his dream project and he has put everything into 1920 and I must say that he has managed it quiet well.

The plot is Wohi old story of One person dies and he returns with a new Avtaar of a Ghost - just to take his long awaiting revenge! or just to harrass. We have seen enough such stories in the past and this movie is nothing new. The bollywood people are so used to a single formula that they keep doing it again and again. Any horror movie will have a typical night shots, sounds of the doors/windows closing krrrrrrrrrrrrrrr / close head shots/ moon under the clouds/ dogs barking/ someone in the background cyring/ loud background music/ victims with changed color of eyes/ Purani haveli / Car getting damaged in the night times / etc... Almost 5 decades and we still get to see the same old receipe. It is also peculiar that the so called ghost comes in the night times only (scared of the sunlight)

Coming to the plot of the movie. its a story of an architect - Rajeenesh Duggal (Forgot his name in the movie) who got an assignment to demolish/remake the old haweli into a big hotel. He was a great Aastik and a devotee of Lord Hanuman. During college days he fell in Love with Lisa (Adah Sharma) a Christian girl. This relationship was not acceptable by the family members (as usual) so he left all the relations/religion (his faith) and went ahead to marry Lisa and settled in a city. Now he is all set to build a plush hotel and they are both are in the Poorani haweli. The care takers/watchmen all knew that the place is haunted but never reveal it to the couple just to save any spat from the owners. Soon with their entry things started changing and Lisa is getting tortured by the Ghost. Now this Ghost was a freedom fighter in the past and had cheated the then King of that province. He (Indraneel Sengupta - Bengali actor) was killed/hanged in the same house/haweli for his HOSTILITY. He entered King’s haweli to spy and eventually fell in love with Gayatri (dont know her her actual name) - the daughter of the king. Gayatri died some years back and took birth again in the name of Lisa! Now you can predict the story from here. the ghost wants Gayatri back on their favorite day - Amavasya and our hero is all set of not allowing him to do so! Rest of the movie is how Sada hero help his wife and love from the Ghost.

So what is that we all viewers have in this flick? I personally liked the cinematography. The locations were just great and the scenes in the haweli with candles were just too good. Too much expenditure has been made on the sets and its showing and glowing all the way through. Special effects are good and background music is ok and loud at times. Screenplay is ok but it is stretched a lot. Editing would have been a bit more tight.

About the cast, I personally feel that the models turn actors dont become very good actors! The best example is our very own John Abraham. His looks are way too good but we all know he cant act. So it is the case with our Raymond boy. He is putting his efforts to get the expressions, but only appears stolid and unlively. Still I think he could do well in future.

Adah Sharma is good and as first film she has done good job.

All others have done their part well and above all I liked the performance of Indraneelsen. His character as a Ghost was superb and he did a splendid job. Watch the film for his performance.
