Keep your soul and body away from this movie.

I was quite impressed with the first two installments of the 1920 series which was 1920 and 1920: Evil Returns which were collectively good whereas was highly disapppointed with 1920: London. The only thing that differs 1921 from 1920: London is the grade and degree of disappointment. Basically, this movie is a bit less disappointing and upsetting than the previous one.

PLOT - Well known and famous television star Karan Kundra plays the lead character of Ayush Asthana who is kind hearted and innocent guy who is extremely good in music skills but he doesn’t have a profession degree or certificate. When Ayush plays music in a house party which has been organized by his father’s boss Mr.Wadia. After getting impressed by Ayush’s magical music , Mr.Wadia insists him to go to York College of Music and in exchange Ayush would serve as the caretaker of Mr.Wadia’s Mansion in York. On the otherside, one of the most struggling and leading faces of the Bhatt Camp Zareen Khan plays the role of Rose( not flower, actually it is the name of the female lead) is mesmerized by the magical music of Ayush and falls in love with him without even meeting him. The movie takes a turn when one day Mr.Wadia’s neice visits the mansion and then tries to kill Ayush for mysterious reason. The rest of the movie is chopped in solving the mystery.

DIRECTION - The director as well as the writer and also the producer Vikram Bhatt seems to be confused with film as the audience gets confused at certain moments. Huge glitches can be seen in the movie especially with the visual effects which are similar to the cartoon shows. Vikram Bhatt could have made this movie much better. Loose ends can be clearly seen in the plot of this movie. Hence, when the base is weak, you cannot expect a high rise building on this plot ( metaphor) .

PERFORMANCE - Television Star Karan Kundra leaves an impact of his potential with this movie by showing his convincing acting whereas Zareen Khan fails yet another time to connect with the audience and serves as a failure in justifying her character.

SOUNDTRACK - The film can basically considered as a musical horror as there are some notable songs. Sun Le Zara by Arnab Dutta is a really catchy song with pleasant melody and soothing https://lyrics.

MY OPINION - As far as my opinion, just keep your soul( Rooh) and body( Jism) away from this which is the key concept of this film.

Thank you.
