Firstly, This is the one and only indian si-fi film with a unique storyline where the main story plot is too different from any other hollywood films.
Not only in main plot, 2.0 is also unique in terms of sub plots and storyline presentation. Director Shankar's mind visual has managed to put a truely different kind of VFX to the.
Till now VFX of this film is superior than any other indian cinema. But I have to say that in the first half, somewhere the VFX was not too much impresive specially whenever all the cell phones visit collectively, there lack of realistic VFX I have seen.
Talking about performances of actors, that is outstanding in one word. Every actors did their job very well, no doubt about it.
Background music has managed the film more safely but it could have been more better I think.
One song which has given at the time of end of the film, which is a pathetic decision I will say, because they put lots of money and efforts to make that and that was a super song, it shuold be in the film running time to describe more emotions of two robots.
Finally the overall cinematography was too much effortfull and splendid too and also was hard to shot for the cinematographer because that was the direct 3D camera by which the whole film has been shooted out.
This is also the first film of indian cinema that has been shooted directly 3D camera not 2D as we all know it.
The incredible 3D effect in this film is awesome and it can be enjoy only just in 3D cinema hall. Because it is not ordianary 3D cinema which first is shooted in 2D and then digitally it gets convert into 3D through softwares.
Verdict, 2.0 is the one of a milestone ever for the indian cinema history till now, by which indian cinema can show hollywood that how this kind of unique si-fi film can be happen with this kind of low money amount.
