Surprised to know that service for Hitachi refrigerator is poor, but I purchased Hitachi Air Conditioner in 2005 from Durgapur and they have given very good service there.
It is surprising to know about Refrigerator in Mumbai, it is doubtful about that dealer. I think it should be verified from the local area, they will definitely look into for proper care of service. If the problem continues, it should be avoided to use Hitachi product for house hold. But overall people likes Hitachi products for house hold’. it should be verified
I will try to contact local dealer to verify this happenings, although Hitachi is a good brand name to bank on.
