Time and again movie makers ensure we( indian audience) don’t forget the taste of our own home made product which we really specialise in and that is ’love stories’. this is also one of those movies. Usual love stories made with a beautiful actress with all her oomph and handsome muscular hero with a romantic tint to his personality. Breath taking shoot locations and wanting- 2- fall- in love- sets and their every scene suitable attires.
Melodramatic moms who would initially disagree for the wedding and so the hero-heroine would try to manao them for accepting their love for each other and blah blah blah and the whole movie revolves around this plot. thats exactly the same thing we see in 2 states. The audience here I guess would not agree. WHY? coz there is certainly something that differentiates 2 states with the normal love stories. Read on to find out.
I found this movie is made way too practically. 2 ppl fall in love, decide to get married, without a single thought with all immaturity make their parents meet up and it doesn’t work out coz of 2 obvious reasons.
Their folks have a plan already in their minds and they both come from diff cultures. ok! That s point no.1 further these guys try to mend things up in their way which in turn gets them away from each other. Thats point no.2 and not to mention they eventually land up together. However, what’s worth a watch is the whole period from the point they decide on getting married to each other till they actually do. And in the entire transition whats even more worth a watch is "2 states of mind" thats the bride and groom sides! they themselves and their families and relatives!
Go watch it! especially if your wedding is just around the corner and especially if its the meeting of different cultures!
