The cast is almost perfect, with Katherine Heigl performing her best. Shes at her peak in looks, and carries off the entire movie on her shoulders. The story begins with her helping out a bride with a torn wedding gown during her childhood, and there begins her liking for marriages. She makes out to many marriages at one of the best women, and plans wedding themes, thereby ending up collecting 27 dresses which shes used over a period of time asbest woman. This gets the hero, whos a journalist, attracted towards her and he does a column in his newspaper, without her marriage, which very much fumes her.
Meanwhile, Katherine is in love with her boss, whos in love with Katherines little sister, who tells lies to lure him into loving her. Katherine doesnt like this relationship, but she never shows and underplays herself. Finally when the boss comes to know of the truth, he walks out of his marriage, and proposes to Katherine, who had just blurted out that she had once loved him. But now shes no more in love with him, and goes out to her journalist lover, who apologizes for his newspaper column and marries her.
The movie sees some cute performances by all the co-stars, on par with that of Katherine. The screenplay is definitely worth mentioning, and so does the cinematography. 27 dresses is a movie worth watching many times over.
