When you are in the middle of an exciting novel and the suspense is building and you wish that you soothe yourself with a hot cuppa Cappuccino, but do not wish to leave the snuggly comforter or the plot will be lost.
When you are travelling in a desert, and the night falls and you seem to be lost in the middle of nowhere, you wish for a rich, dark and strong Black coffee, with just the sand dunes as your mattress and the dark blue shimmery sky above as your roof.
When you are tired after a long hard day at work, you get back and find yourself home alone and there aint nobody to make you a refreshing Hot chocolate, you tend to put your hands together to say a silent prayer to Lord Almighty to get you a Genie that will make u just one Cuppa Hot Chocolate, alas!
I was travelling the dessert roads between two large cities in the KSA and as if outta nowhere, we landed at a petro-station which was like a mini mela of sorts. Many brands had their food chains and also there was a mart to pick nick-nacks, and there I saw this set of three cans that had a Cappuccino, a Black Coffee and a Hot Chocolate - 2GO Brand name
Read it in a jiffy and made our way to our destination to see what we can do with it whence we get to the safe confines of our shelters.
As, luck(or destiny) would have it, travelling a wee further, in the dessert somewhere, our car broke down, and help was atleast 4-6 hours away to reach us. SCENE 1
Took out the Triology and was some way thru and gripped in the way things were moving, and desperately wanted a sip of warmth. SCENE 2
Was too tired to get up and even ask for a lift or help from passerbyes as it wouldnt have materialised any ways, and the chill of the desert nights was setting in, longing for that refresher. SCENE 3
The Genie was in the car, and I was so wondering if to do it right away, and then I said Yes to myself and tried the Cappuccino first. This was after about an hour or so. I was overwhelmed so did the Black Coffee after about 2 hours, and the Hot chocolate also could not survive, so did it after another two hours.
I was so glad that my instinct made me buy these Instant heating Cans of Hot Beverages and they came in handy.
Invert the can, lift open the lid, press the plastic sheath that is there inside for a couple of seconds and wait till steam begins to come.
Invert the can straight and let it stand for about 3 minutes on its own.
Be careful the can gets pretty hot to handle now, lift open the can top, and pour out or sip direct steaming hot beverage.
Beware the temperature is nearly+80C or above and it continues to heat the beverage even as you continue to drink.
All three flavors were so marvellous and the concept so unique that it sure will be a rage soon, with all travellers, and backpackers, hikers, adventure loving people, malls, theatres, may be even offices / colleges.
Trust me, its a revelation of sorts!
