It is not a Movie, It is an experience!! Throughout the three hours you are either laughing, or crying, or laughing after crying, or crying after laughing. Whew, what is this man? This is redefinition of cinema if at all you can categorise it under the name of Cinema.
I prefer not to tell the story except that it is about our education system and how it makes machines instead of educated people.Raju Hirani has surpassed himself. **Munnabhai MBBS was a cheeky single. Lage Raho was a sixer but 3 Idiots is :- Half century in one and half over.
Every actor in this movie is brilliant whether it is Amir or Kareena, or his gang and of course the professor Boman Irani who again has surpassed himself. The surprise item in this is Sharman Joshi who has given an outstanding performace. There is also another character called Chatur Ramalingam [ Omi Vaidya] who has done a great job, adding spice to the movie.The movie has several messages but the best one is’ Kaamyabi ke peeche mat bhago, Apne aap ko kaabil banao, to kamyabi apne aap tumhare paas ayegi.’
The movie has several surprises in the story and leaves you guessing at several points. The comedy is absolutely whacky. There was no space between the seats in the hall else lot of people would have actually been on the Floor laughing.
The script is loosely based on Chetan Bhagat’s ’5 pt someone’ but that is where the similarity ends. The way the plot has been weaved and sewn together is unbelievable. Usually I don’t prefer flashback movies but This ONE is different .
The movie has an ending which is out of the blue. When the movie was about to end I felt that it should go on and on and on..... how can such a beautiful thing end My rating for this movie is NOT FIVE STAR. it is * * * * * * * [ eight stars]. Actually here there is no space for giving more than five in this system, hence I have left it at five.stars only .
After this movie the bollywood equations are very clear............. Shahrukh is the King.................But Aamir is the Emperor.................... IT IS A MUST MUST MUST WATCH MOVIE, Ek baar nahin, , , , baar , , , baar...... By the way, where is Raju Hirani?? I WANT TO GIVE HIM A JADU KI JHAPPI !!
