The scene where Engineering students delivered a baby on a ping-pong table with the help of a vacuum cleaner under directions through webcam under thunderous climactic conditions & battery lights tells the story.it’s idiotic.but after all name of the film is 3 idiots.one should not forget that this film is not for aiming at an oscar. Film is only a commercial potboiler to fetch cheap entertainment(remember the zipper scene & pant dropping scenes) to huge section of college going students who revolt against the Indian educational system. Opening scene where Madhavan absolutely gets away with heart attack drama.absolutely crap.The use of well-known gags do not help the cause either.How did the Madhavan & sharman forget to ask real name of Rancho when they meet javed. How can Aamir escape ragging with a full senior group existing.don’t tell me there was only one senior involved in ragging.how can Kareena wait for marrying Aamir for 10 years without being in touch.
Chamatkarwala & larger-than-life Aamir started from where he left in Tare zameen par .in TZP he suggested what the unconventional school education system should be.in 3 idiots he is suggesting how engineering should be done.it’s a fiction to the core. flawless work of art?. definitely no!.the dig at educational system is funny but irritatingly preachy these sermons.but there is no point to find logic, reasoning or sensibility in amir’s movies now.especially after Gajhini.
It is now clear that original source Five Point Someone is heart of this movie.The makers should have given the credit to the author in the opening of the movie and it would have done no harm to the business of the movie.Why Aamir resorts to this plagiarism is unclear, it was Amol Gupte in TZP.it is Chetan Bhaghat now.
