I had been waiting for this movie for a year or so, we had first seached for this topic on internet when we heard it being mentioned in the movie "The Last Samurai" , heard about it previosly also and
seen a documentry on Discovery, but hell to those who say the story plot is weak, its the greatest legend of the worlf not like the stupid romeo and juliet type. And a word of advice kindly dont watch it if u compare it with titanic and stuff.
I agree to this part that the directors havent used the true story to
the full extent and just concentrated on main events. Neither the number of soldiers was only 300. But hell the cinematography was awesome
Sin City was just the begining for robert Rodreguiz. I went to the
movie with my college friends who were die hard gladiator, braveheart, troy type movies fans yet no one even spoke a single word during the movie. they watched it with their
mouths open. hell we didnt even get up during intermission.
The lead actors personna is significant to this movie, while some may think he was plain mad but u can judge by the character strength and the laws of greek times that a Spartan king neede to be like tht.
What was really great about the movie was the dialouges. it really make you pity the poor persians who were being thrown into the meat grinding machines.Characters have an aura of their own. Courage valor bravery commitment are some of the features of the movie which have been glorified. no
surprise that its running for the third week in bangalore.

Music was somewhat average and real stress was on the sound
effects. Unlike troy the battle sequences were
more barbaric and were distributed to everyone not just the
hero alone.
Loved the dialouges. Felt bad for the suffering of the poor wife thus in terms of emotions too the movie satisfied. Something that was quite depressing was the last stand of the spartans.
Makeup of artists was superb. They could have added more power to the
script by making the movie longer as even wen it ended the audience could have sit for atleast 30 mins more. People really enjoyed it
Girlfriends got the chance to hug their BF’s during the gory scenes. Some scenes have been potrayed well.
