36 Chhattees was a pleasant surprise. I had considered visiting it many times for a dine-out previously, but never actually got the chance to eat there till last night. And I am glad that I took the time and effort to come all the way from Kompally to Jubilee Hills. The meal was not only pleasant, relaxed, delicious and well served, but it was also worth the money.
The ambiance is decent, the service is prompt, the food is delicious and the cost is reasonable. We opted for the barbeque buffet, so I can’t say much about ala-carte. Though the spread isn’t elaborate, there are enough items on the menu, and the right ones, to satisfy your taste buds and make you feel stuffed by the time you are done. The best part is the unlimited kebabs which are served hot and sizzling from the moment you are seated till you ask them to stop because you are already full. Priced at a reasonable Rs. 450/- + taxes per person, this is one dine-out experience which won’t cost you a fortune.
All in all, 36 Chhatees is the place you want to take your family for a quiet evening when you are craving delicious food but are not in the mood to burn a hole in your pocket.
