Hi these are in brief.. To summarize the experiences and my several colleagues when I was working for 3i..I would strictly advise people not to join this firm .. I am very glad I left that place .. I guess that they have some bunch of cheats and robbers at the top .. maybe that’s how they might have acquired the products by stealing from other small firms and money sucked from employees pockets
Harassment of Employees -
Working for 3i Infotech is one of the most frustrating, humiliating and unrewarding experiences 1. No respect for employees.. no track of skills or not consistency in providing projects 2. Biased Appraisals without discussions and as low increments as Rs. 500 for several people. even those who slogged out the year long working till 2 pm every other day because managers keep changing 3. working late nights but no compensation inspite of policy 4. No Adequate compensation policy .. you could be working for 3-4 years and a new joinee/fresher with lesser exp will have a much higher salary ( of course the new joinee will come to the same state of frustration when he finds out his salary is not incrementing after 2 - 3 years ) 5. No Adquate ploicy driven answers from HR ( two ppl joining at same level say freshers might have different salaries ) Happened with me I was told because of my college .. even though but mine was a good ranked college of better university and the other persons collge was in some remote village 6. Exploits freshers Charges Rs. 1000 as test fee .. when there is no proper interview panel ( this is clear daylight looting ) 7.
Harasses employees when they resign ..
A. e.g. ask for 3 months notice even if 1. Employees are without project and sitting idle without work 2. Employees have sufficient leaves 3. Employees are ready to pay for lesser notice pay B. Very un-cooperative .. delays simple tasks for months the Worst 3 1. HR 2. Senior Management 3. Resource Management Group Cheats Customers ---------------- 1. Give false estimates 2. Do not follow any quality processes ( even while being CMM5 ) but charge accordingly ( only employees and made to slog mgmt takes no responsibility and the stick come heavily on employees when estimates are crashed heavily by senior management ..atleast accept your mistakes 3. Do not provide adequate workforce or replacements to clients in case some people are leaving or have left To ICICI Bank, ---------------------- 3i Infotech Handles operations for Safety bonds for ICICI bank.
Directly loots Banks Customers by 1. Not issuing certificates for payments made ( I know 3 such cases 1 was employees of 3i Infotech only 2. On Maturity not dispatching Cheques for Bonds or claming that they have already dispatched the cheque and hence it is paid ( Even if the courier failed to deliver when no one was at home ) My friend lost Rs. 30, 000 ..2 years ago and is still trying to recover .. after every interaction the final conclusion drawn is that we have already dispatched and hence it is paid ------------------------
Now that I am out of the prison I thought it is my social responsibility to warn customers, new joiners and freshers Nay new Joinees or existing employees wanting my help to look for a new job or any ind of help can always approach me Its best to stay away for these Liars and dishonest people who have had core values as honesty and loyalty As I have never seen such a company so dishonest to its employees and customers, and what I mentioned for employees loyal for 3-4 years is just the tip of the iceberg
A simple rule of good management is “Keep your employees happy to keep your customers happy” (Much could be told .. tried to resist .. as this is unethical ..but then I could not help spill out so much .. )
