I had the misfortune of selecting this place to celebrate my son’s first birthday and was expecting to call all my friends and relatives to join me in this memorable occasion. Not only did this restaurant manage to spoil the entire show but also have left me feeling misreable about the entire event.
On the day of the function they had no staff to serve at the function. No staff to clear the used plates. The toilets was horrible stinking mess even before the function started. Finally they had someone come down and clean the toilets and unfortunately it was the same person serving food sometime later. They were dressed worse than beggars.
They had convinced me to include "paani-puri" into my menu. The person serving the paani puri made everyone cringe at the thought of eating out of his hand. Sorry people i’m not being racist nor am I naive spoiled brat. This restaurant made me pay top buck for the function but they could do nothing right on this day. Leaving me totally disappointed and upset.
Prior to the final day we were invited for "tasting" the menu being made on the final day. The food tasted good but the food served on the final day was no where close. It was very very mediocre. There was another restaurant called Tamarind close by from this location they charged the same rate even. I regret I fell for the marketing gimmick of this place and chose this over Tamarind at Banaswadi. Hope no one else has to ever go through this.
