I had happened to have a lunch along with a close friend of mine. Being a new restaurant, we decided to try it out. So on a Friday noon, we reached the place early by 12noon, so that we could choose the better seats. We were worried about car park, but luckily there was a lot of place behind the restaurant and valet parking saved the trouble of finding a parking space.
This restaurant is a convert of a big bungalow. We were interested in going for the buffet to have a dig at more varieties. We were ushered to the first floor of the restaurant, as the ground floor had a bar attached. We found the menu neatly served in the middle of the hall.
We selected a corner table and started off with soups and starters. We were served Chicken Manchow Soup(Definitely it was not the type of soup which is prepared in a Chinese restaurant) and dry chicken(forgot the name), which was good. Later we started off with plates and found the following items: For Non Veg – Dry chicken, Bommidailu Fish Curry, except for the south indians I couldn’t find others going for this item, Chicken shorba, Mutton Biriyani, Egg Masala. For Veg: Pulao, Paneer Butter Masala, Steamed vegetables, Spaghetti, Chinese Noodles.Chinese Vegetables( Not sure of the name), and as usual white rice, dal, curdrice etc. Plain and Butter Nan were available on demand. For desserts, Butterscotch pudding, Fruit Salad, Ice cream, Kheer, Rasgulla etc… The buffet was charged at Rs.199+ taxes per person.
The food was good. I have become a regular visitor to this dine in. Also I found that the service was little slow when the restaurant is filled and I could find the waiters a confused lot. The overall restaurant ambiance was just fine. Definitely a frequent place to visit on weekdays or weekend. Overall I can give a rating of 8/10.
