Food is awesome, to say the least! Try the chingri malaikari, dab chingri or the vapa ilish, you would surely relish each of them. No that kasa mangso, luchi or pur-vara pomfret (normally I dont like pomfret but this one is a catch!) lag far behind. No doubt there are other decent bengali food joints in Bangalore but not one serves this many exotic bengali dishes . During the puja they present a dinner buffet, which is tasty and sumptous, eat-till-you-drop kind ... definitely worth giving a try.
Ambience is good, with bengali music in the background. However there are some cons. The mocktails in the menu are total disaster. Also, the patisapta and malpoa are hopeless. Dont order any desert other than rasogolla and misti doi. And sure, it is costly, no denying of this. No thali (combo meal) is there, so unless you are in group it would burn your pocket real bad.
