There is this nice place located in Bangalore. I am a fan of biryani as I am sure that you are too. It is called 7 Plates and I must say that the food on offer is splendid. The only negative is when you order takeaway, you have to wait for a long time. Aside from that rather annoying fact the food is superb. I have visited the Benson Town and the Kalyan Nagar outlets of #7Plates in Bangalore. Here are my comments on the various dishes that I sampled at the outlets.
Biryani – not too greasy and delish
The meat(chicken and mutton) is not bony but fleshy.
Lovely biru – try it out.
Naans – lovely
When you buy naans and keep them aside for a while, there is a tendency for them to get rubbery. The stuff here is not so – I give it 9 stars - One for improvement.
Rolls – burp
If you are looking for something that is easy on the eyes, you are in the right place. When you take the first bite, you are in roll heaven. Superb.
Kababs – Slurp
Forget about a smorgasbord when ordering in from a variety of restaurants. You get the real deal here and then some. To put it in a nutshell - lovely fare.
The only glitch is that the prices are rather high. However, the staff is friendly. The place is neat and tidy. Ideal for a family and friends to dig into something havoc, but forget it if you are on a diet. You will lose the battle because the smells are tempting and you will dig in. Diet be damned.
