Being too darn close to fifty and growing up with a mom that drank a six pack of Pepsi a day, I, too found myself on that same hook. Until at the ripe old age of 27 I found that between the Pepsi and the coffee the caffiene had my chest ready to explode!! Hence the addiction to 7-Up was born.. Refreshing, thirst quenching and yes....ever so tummy settling for myself and five kids.....now comes the year 2003. Most of my favorite stores now are not carrying 7-Up, but in its place, with the Pepsi Products, is this monster thing called Seirra Mist!!!! Not knowing what else to do, my daughter brought one home to me one evening, explaining that there was no 7-Up to be found.Disheartedly but open-mindedly I gave it a try.It was a first and a last. The flavor was much too sharp and over bearing and left a harsh after taste that I had never liked with any refreshment. I for one will look high and low and purchase extra 7-Up when I do find the places that still carry the good ole classics. I cant for the life of me imagine why they always feel the need he mess with a good thing...Grand- Dad used to say If it aint broke, dont fix it!
