I have been drinking 7up for years, while it isn’t my favorite I will drink this when there isn’t any Pepsi.
My parents use to give us kids 7up when we were children if we were ill. They had been told by many a doctor to open the can and let the fizz out of the drink and then give it to us ice cold to help reduce our fever.
To this day I have followed this same pratice with my children and grandchildren.I don’t know if it is because it is sweet or if it is because it’s a fluid that children like and will drink.
Besides for medical purposes I enjoy 7up every once in a while. The lemon/lime taste is one that I find very refreshing. Ice cold is the way I like mine but I have even had to drink it warm and could and was able to enjoy it.
