When very few beverages entered indian market, 7up was among on of the best.The ads were simple yet customer convincing.
In the last decade due to extensive marketing Thumsps up, coca cola, pepsi & sprite started attracting customers & ate up 7up customers.
On the other hand 7up didnt come up with new ads. They neither improved the taste nor added new flavours or variety.
7Ups marketing team didnt do their job well which is why they lost their customer base. When it was time to improve their share in market, they lost it.
7up was never able to to understand customer needs. The taste was never much convincing & never did it improve.
Both the quality & packaging never improved.
