I am a regular online shopper and have had good experience with various online stores. I had shopped for a bday for my friend a mens kurta from 99labels.com and ensured that as per their delivery schedule I keep a buffer time so that it can reach my friend on his bday. The delivery time as promised lapsed and I started getting mails mentioning technical problem in obtaining the product, scrutinizing, quality check and blah blah blah....finally after such emails one fine day they mentioned that the product is dispatched. My friend received the kurta weeks later after it was scheduled to reach and plus the size that was shipped was also wrong!!!
It was so embarrassing for me to face that friend of mine as the gift was firstly delayed and later on it was of wrong size....it felt as if I have for the heck of sending a gift sent the kurta to him!!! I took the kurta from my friend immediately and arranged to send it back to the online store as after speaking to the customer care I was told to ship it back to the store and all the shipping expenses shall be borne by them.
To ensure proper and timely shopping of the product back to the company I shipped with a trustworthy courier. The courier gave me the acknowledgement which mentioned that the product was delivered at the office on 28/03/2012 but the company mentioned that the product was only received by them on 05/04/2012. I made several follow-ups through emails and phone calls but every time I was told to wait for 24/48 hrs which are never ending still.
I finally got an email mentioning after week that after more week the account shall be credit with 206 refund, 100 bonus points and 300 courier charges. I mentioned to them that I had paid 465 as courier charges and it should be 465 and not 300...
I provided the courier receipt too but still nothing has happened....i have made a mistake of my life by thinking of sending an online gift. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP FROM THIS SITE AND SPECIALLY IF YOU PLAN TO SEND A GIFT TO ANYONE.
