Gaurang Doshi production`s and V.R Picture`s’’Aankhen_a dangerous game is about to begin’’, directed by Vipul Amrutal Shah and produced by Gaurang Doshi, is one of the most awaited film.It is the film which got great publicity such as its game on the computer.This film has the ’’hot n happening’’star cast of Ambitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Bipasha Basu, Arjun Rampal, Sushmita Sen, Paresh Rawal, Kashmirah Shah and Aditya Panscholi.This movie is based on a Gujarati play’’Andhalo Paato’’.
The film is about a bank manager Vijay Singh Rajput(Ambitabh Bachchan)who loves his bank, ’’Vilasrao Jefferson Bank’’.He made the bank sucessful and sacrificed everything for that bank.The problem with him is that he is ’’CRAZY’’about the bank.One day he sees a cashier betraying a customer.For this he beats the bank cashier on the road and the cashier is injured very badly.As a result, the owner of the bank turns Vijay Singh Rajput out of the bank.Vijay Singh Rajput is very angry.He swears that he would rob the bank but then he realizes that alone he could not do so.One day, he is passing by on the road.He sees a blind school teacher, Neha Shrivastav(Sushmita Sen)over there.The next day he kidnaps her younger brother.When Neha asks about her brother, Vijay Singh Rajput tells her that she has to train three blind men for bank robbery or he would kill her brother.Neha is forced to do so.Vijay Singh Rajput also tells her that he will only be observing them.The next day the three blind men come.The first one is Arjun(Arjun Rampal).In his childhood, his parents died and then his uncle adopted him.His uncle`s own son was blind and so he gave Arjun`s eyes to his own son and Arjun became blind.The second blind man is Ilias(Paresh Rawal)a jolly person, who was kidnapped in his childhood and was made blind by the kidnappers.The third blind man is Vishwas Prajapati(Akshay Kumar)who could see three years ago and was not blind.He was engaged to Raina(Bipasha Basu)and he was going to marry her.When he was going to marry her on his wedding day, he had an accident due to which he became blind and then Raina married someone else, afterwards.The only thing which was left with Vishwas was his sixth sense.So, together these three blind men with Neha start a dangerous game for Vijay Singh Rajput.The dangerous game is bank robbery.Will they rob the bank?
Vipul Amrutal Shah`s directorial debut is excellent.He has directed the film very well.The story by Aatish Kapadia is superb which grips the attention of the audience.Action is amazing.Ashok Mehta`s cinematography is eye-catching, as usual.Aadesh Shrivastav`s music and background music was very good.P.Joshi`s lyrics are good.Jatin_Lalit have given a fine music for ’’Kuch Kasmein Hain Jawan’’.Choreography is brilliant.
And now the performances!Ambitabh Bachchan has given one of his best performances.He is effective.Akshay Kumar as Vishwas Prajapati is superb.He portrays the character of a blind man very well.Sushmita Sen gives a powerful performance.Arjun Rampal does not have a meaty role, so he is not so impressive.Paresh rawal is excellent in this dynamic role.He is too funny and there is a spirit in this action film because of him.The movie would have been empty without him.Aditya Panscholi has been wasted.Bipasha Basu in her one song ’’Gustakhiyan Hain’’is simply delicious.She looks beautiful.Kashmirah Shah in her item dance number’’Chalka Chalka’’, dances very well.She looks gorgeous and sexy.She has done full justice to her song.
On the whole Aankhen is an excellent film.Specially Ambitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar fans will love this film.The movie is gripping and worth watching.You won`t be dissapointed!
