I have never seen a service provider who is so insensitive towards customers grievances
I have been a very loyal customer to Airtel India for years now. I have 2 airtel postpaid mobile connections, 3 DTH connections, a broadband connection, a landline connection and a wifi hotspot. I have never delayed any of my payments in years.
I recently had a very humiliating experience from the service provider that forces me to move out of all these services at once.
I was regularly facing issues with my broadband connection that I decided to move out of it on the 17th of June( the connection was not working then) when a humble customer care office called me and offered a Rs.1000 waiver on my existing bill and a one month free connection, if the service was satisfactory in this one month, I may decide to continue the service,
I agreed to it and continued the service. The connection was resumed on the 11th of July(please note that the connection was not working during this period) there was a bill generated which included the period that the connection was not working so I raised a complaint for which I was confident that a solution would be offered.
On the 4th of July, I had a very important presentation to make so I logged in to realize that the connection has been withdrawn due to non payment of bills, there was no prior intimation for this. How can the connection be disconnected when there is an open billing complaint? I paid the entire amount that was pending to get the connection reactivated. I felt so humiliated that I raised a request for cancellation. Today, a customer care officer called me and did not even understand my issue and went on to say that she will waive off a bill of Rs.1300 that has been raised now without even offering an apology. I wanted to meet a manager to discuss for which she said that is not possible and readily cancelled my connection. This is more humiliating than the disconnection of my line for non bill payment.
Thank you Airtel for humiliating such a loyal customer. I am moving out all my connections. I never knew that you all are so insensitive towards customers grievances.
