I travelled from Haneda Airport to Takamatsu airport through ANA in March, 2008. The service was excellent, the plane was clean. The flights took off on time except there was a ten minute delay on the return flight from Takamatsu.
The stewardesses spoke good English even though it was a domestic flight within Japan. What I loved was the ability to use console check in and even there they provided assistance. I was able to board a flight just 10 minutes before the actual flight time using ANA’s Skip service. I wish airlines in India would introduce such a service as well. The seats were comfortable with plenty of leg space even in economy class. The staff was extremely polite and they served drinks on a very short haul flight.
On the flight from Takamatsu to Tokyo the pilot took the trouble to apologise for the delay and also gave adequate guidance about the bad weather in Tokyo and how we might experience turbulence. Overall ANA has a good product and even though it is expensive it is worth the money.
