Swastik Steel Company’s owner Mr. Balbir is the richest man of India and his son Ran Vijay craves for his father’s love and attention right from childhood, but he doesn’t get that
This craving becomes obsessively violent and as he becomes young, it turns out to become an Animal like mental state
When his father is shot two bullets, Ran Vijay declares himself as the man of the house. He assures his father to keep the steel empire running, but revenge will be first priority
Ranbir Kapoor.looks similar like in Sanju, but with an improved performance
His stardom and talent can only save this film basically, coz his efforts are hampered by a poorly developed script that fails to establish a connection between the audience and the characters
Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandana are reasonably good

All 3 with very limited roles
Bobby Doel is impressive, but his role is just some what more than a guest appearance. Big mistake here, Bobby should have been used more
After Aashram series and here in Animal.Bobby has a nice opportunity to revive his career as a full fledged established villain in Bollywood( You have it in you brother)
And as it is after Amrish Puri’s exit and Danny Denzongpa who is almost retired from films, we need someone to continue this legacy.Bobby, think it over
The writer and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga( Kabir Singh).by just showing bloodshed everywhere, blurred nude scene, angry eyes, hard hitting background music.you just cannot portray animalistic human
Childhood not being happy and not much care and love received from parents, well, you have picked up the psychological factor correctly for Ranbir’s mental state, but as a viewer one will not feel the connection with the actor
Where is the intensity?
Where are the emotions?
Ranbir is madly in love with his wife and totally committed, and later he is shown sleeping with Zoya. The reason given for his this act is not justifying enough( or it was just added to show the public that he has got animal instincts who casually sleeps with many females?)
Few plus points.
The movie picks up well in the beginning, an interesting one hour
Screenplay is good
Background music is awesome
Chemistry between father and son is excellent. That scene shown in trailers regarding Ranbir missing Michael Jackson’s show for his papa’s birthday.this full scene is very well made and it’s the highlight of the movie
Either the runtime( 201 minutes) should have been reduced or Bobby’s role and his screen presence should have been increased.things would have been different
Since the movie is long, the rating needs to be divided in 3
