Product - Apple iBook G4 - 14’’ laptop It’s was a buy that I had been dreaming of. I can’t stop admiring my laptop even after six months, that I have owned it. Main Pros - Ease of use, sleek, novel features and ahead of it’s competition in it’s price category. The standard (licensed versions) softwares that come with the hardware are far more than any windows based laptop offerings.
Few of these are - iTunes - MP3 software with free updates, iPhoto - to manage all those digital photos, Spotlight - that instant search tool, Dock - the small but very useful little Genie... None of these can be thought of in windows laptops. Other hardware features too prove it’s superiority - Boot speed, LCD display quality, built-in speaker, mic, battery-power indicator, etc, etc.. Main Negatives - It’s white in colour - gets soiled very easily (no other colour is available - Apples are only white!!) It get’s warm very quickly especially if the battery is being charged while in use Compatibility - a big limitation if you want to use too many windows based files. It’s surely a best buy in it’s price category.
