A TOTAL RIP-OFF OF A KOREAN FILM

’Awarapan’ is a total copy of a recent Korean film, ’A Bittersweet Life’ starring the enigmatic Lee Byung-Hun.  The Korean original was one of the best films globally in 2005.  The Indian copy is a travesty because it is exactly that - a copy.

I urge viewers to avoid’Awarapan’ like the plague.  Instead seek out the Korean original which is freely available with English subtitles and in some places witha Hindi dubbed track as well.   By watching’Awarapan’ you are only supporting gangsters who steal other genuine filmmakers hard work.

This is the second film in the last few weeks that I have lambasted for being a copy.  Why is it that some in the so-called’Bollywood’ find it easy to steal other’s films?  Becuase they are lazy, greedy, and have no talent.

It is a shame that a talented actor like Emran acted in such a travesty.  He should be more careful and try and associate only with genuine filmmakers.
