My Name’s jatin and I too am a proud owner of the Kawasaki Bajaj Caliber 115.
I bought this bike on Jan 2004, and now that I have more than a year and 10000kms
on this bike, trust me guys...the bike is still rock steady. I usually drive it in the city
where I get a mileage of 70+. I read the reviews of people in this forum, who were
dissapointed with the mileage of this bike.
All u need to improve mileage is to change gears at the suitable RPM and
get the bike serviced on time. Nowadays, I usually take this bike from
Delhi to Agra and that too....the same day . i.e delhi - agra -delhi on the same day.
I have 0% maintaince till now. This bike is 100% reliable on the highway than
other bikes in this class. On highways, I do get a decent mileage of 80+.
Not only me, but my friends also like my bike , due to it’s rock steady reliability
and superb mileage. Its braking is also good with 130mm drum brakes.
As far as performance is concerned, it is capable of beating the Hero Honda
Splendour, LML Freedom , Passion and the Victor. There’s a secret behind it.
All kawasaki Bajaj engines have the capability of running in extreme RPM’s
and deliver Raw performance. the only drawback is engine knocking.
So, guys .....drive the Kawasaki Caliber 115 and u’lll always see the passion,
freedom and victor struggling to catch u.
