I required an air purifier which could clean & filter the air in my bedroom since I was constantly getting colds & nose irritation due to some allergy related to dust particles, I was falling sick often, I tried searching for air filters in stores but was unable to locate any stores selling any kind of air filter, except the ones which I can came across was way beyond my budget. anyway while googling around enough websites, I figured out I required Air filter which should be fitted with Hepa or Hepa type of filter which filters the air in our room upto 99% don’t know the exact details.

I bought the Bionaire air purifier (BAP706 ) directly from the Distributor since none of the Resellers were stocking it as they was little or NO demand for any kind of Air purifiers. Lets talk about the product itself it gives value for money since I bought it for Rs. 3, 800/-.
When you open the box the first thing you will notice the Quality of the product, thick plastics everywhere even back panel is hard to remove, it also makes the product kind of Big & heavy. You require to leave some ventilation gap at rear air input. It comes with two switch one is Ionizer and the other is Fan.
To start the machine you need to ON the Fan and keep the Fan running. Fan Switch has got 4 options high, medium, low & OFF. Fan makes most noise when it is at high setting. Don’t expect it to replace your Table Fan, it is just an air filter with added option of Negative Ionizer. You can shut off the Ionizer option if you don’t require it. Lonizer only helps in removing bad odor and freshens the room.
It has got one carbon pre-filter which is washable, it traps bigger dust particles, inside there is a Hepa type of filter which the company claims is similar to Hepa filter to filter out any tiny air particles up to 0.3 microns. I am NOT sure how much it actually filters but It does make the air in my room lighter Plus I am getting proper sleep as no more constant colds or allergy related problems.
I would generally recommend to those who are constantly facing problems related to dust or allergy. This product claims to have been certified by British allergy foundation or something I am NOT sure how much the claims are real. Plus Air Ionizer does make the most difference try it you will simply love the fresh air.
Negative Points are it is kind of heavy since durable plastic and materials used everywhere, BIT noisy on High Fan option. Not Suitable for ROOM SIZE bigger then 100 sq.ft. Some people will complain of dry nose or nose irritation when Ionizer is running you can of course switch it OFF and run only the Air Filter option.
For people who are unable to buy due to unavailability since Bionaire don’t have any Indian branch ask for OSTER India those people will arrange the product as it is parent company of Bionaire. Will keep updating on issues related to the product, hope it doesn’t disappoint me.
P.S.: Whichever Brand of air purifier you Buy Be sure to ask if you purifier comes with replaceable Hepa filter or Not some outdated air purifiers are circulating in the market which DON’T have replaceable Hepa filters. Always Insist on replaceable Hepa filters type of Air purifier.
Last thing I don’t know how others will react to air purifiers SO Buy at your own Risks, This product helped me so I am reviewing about it. others might not share the similar views.
