Although this dumb piece of phone is off the market now but I’m writing this review explaining my terrible nightmarish experience & I warn you that if you see this phone in a second hand market even for Rs 100, DO NOT BUY IT.
I bought this phone from E-zone. They didn’t have the piece but said they’ll order it from their "other" store nearby & it’ll take 10 mins. I waited since it was the phone I wanted as a b’day gift.
The phone finally arrived & I purchased it for Rs 20, 000! After 3 months, I started having problems. The phone would switch off when kept on a table. The touch screen was going berserk. I went to E-zone. They told me to go to Andheri’s service center. I went to Andheri the next day & to my dismay the damn service center had shifted to Khar. I went back to E-zone explaining to them how useless & misinformed they are. I realized that they gave me a used/defective piece.
I was told to go to Khar. The service center was so crowded & the complaint sheets were overflowing. I gave my piece only to get a replacement after 1 month. After 4 months even that piece failed. Same problems occurred.
I was told a new service center opened near my place in a mall. I went there and was told the battery wasn’t functioning well. They replaced the battery & gave me the phone within a week. After a month, the phone once again wasn’t responding & the touch screen didn’t work.
I went to the same service center near my house, those a-holes kept it for a month so that my warranty date would be over. They told me that now that the warranty is over you have to pay us Rs. 5000-7000 for repairs. I said ok. After calling every other week, they did not give me my phone. They kept it for over 2 months. I told them to hell with it, I NEVER went back. Instead I bought a new phone.
Don’t ever buy a BLACKBERRY STORM! Or any other BB touchscreen phone.
