Its a 16 Mega pixel camera, with 50X optical zoom makes you hold it steady for perfection. you can capture the objects far away as they appear nearer to you. the birds, animals which moves when they get noticed by your presence. so you can capture without disturbing them. its easy to operate as user manual will give you the detailed operation of camera. Lots of options available such as macro, manual focusing etc. The price is little higher comparable with basic DSLR but you get better zoom capability. when fully zoomed the image sharpness reduces little. The build quality looks like cheap.
better to carry a spare battery with you as provided battery(1060 mAh) drains quickly. flash is pretty good. but you have to open it manually. over all it is a good product for hobbyist.light weight, easy to carry occupies little space in your luggage. I am using it for last 1 year
