Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is an Indian Tamil movie. The film has been released in Telugu version named Nawab. I have watched both movie. I watched this film because of Vijay Sethupathi. When I watched Nawab, the voice of Vijay Sethupathi was dubbed by any Telugu artist. So I decided to watch this film in original VIjay Sethupathi’s voice.
Lets talk about the story of the film. The both stories Nawab and CCV are same. But some character’s voice are dubbed in Telugu version. The film takes off with the murder attempt on Senapathi(Prakash Raj), who is a don. He was going to the temple with his wife. Senapathi has three sons named Vardhan, Thyagarajan, Ethiraj. Senapathi has a daughter too. Vardhan is a short tempered guy, character played by Arwind Swami. Thyagarajan is a business man, character played by Arun Vijay. Ethiraj is the third son, character played by Salimbarasan. Later Senapathi knows about the culprit who is one of his sons behind the murder attempt. After Senapathi’s death, his sons start fight for the throne. Vijay Sethupathi is a undercover cop. He is the surprised character of the film. So after watching Nawab, I decided to watch CCV. I liked his role in the film very much.
The first half is family drama and second half is full of action and revenge genre. Aditi does not looks good with her character in this movie too.
