The peerless music directors are ready to set the dance floor with fire of a music. The album begins with ’’ 1 2 3 4 get on the dance floor’’ in voice of vishal dadlani & hamsika iyer. This song is a south indianized hindi song with a generic tamil base featuring south star priyamani with srk. The beats of this song is fast. The 2nd song of this album is ’’titli’’ by chinmayee sripad and gopi sundar. This track is having zingy melodies where the delightful music is accentuated by superb singing.
Lets move to another track ’’tera raasta chhodon na’’ having vocals of lyricist amitabh bhattacharya and anusha mani. The euphonious voice of anusha and good singing by amitabh makes the track to listen in a repeat mode. Another track ’’kashmir main, tu kanyakumari’’ is little bit disappointment. This is the mediocre soundtrack of the album. Sunidhi chauhan with arijit singh & neetimohan have give their best but the beats of the song are annoyingly templatized. 4th track of the album’’ready steady po’’ is a passable techno sing by smokey, natalie di luccio.enkore, vishasl dadlani & brodha v is the average track of the album.
Lets switch to another track of the album. ’’Chennai express’’ is the title track of the album vocals by s.p balasubramanyam, honey singh & jonita gandhi. This one is the fast pacing song with high beats. The veteran singer sp balasubramanyam is back to Bollywood music industry after more than a decade. 7th track is the dubstep version of song ’’titli’’ by phoenix, chris mcguinness & zoheb khan. This version is run-off-the-mill. Last song of the album is ’’chennai express mashup’’ by dj kirran kamath. This medley is wonderfully mixed with high tempo beats. So, my verdict for this album is thumbs up.
