this place is the fanciest and expensive place right at Palolem beach
I spent 4 days at this most irritating hotel.
actually, We stayed there for four days forcedly.
Ciaran’s - Goa Infrastructure:
The entire hotel was under construction. No one from management informed me before and no one informed my Indian agency travel about this inconvenience.
Ciaran’s - Goa Very Irritating StaffIn the beginning, they put us in a room downstairs. The was big like the closet in my house, no Chairs notable because there was no space apart the bed. The room faced on the veranda where friends of management smoked cigarets, drinking beers, laugh as usual we get to relax. The only problem was I couldn’t open the windows and Curtains otherwise they could see inside the room looking at me and my girlfriend. We asked for another solution and they showed us the room upstairs.
Ciaran’s - Goa Wrong Charges: The room upstairs was bigger for sure but was the room of the owners(European and abroad of India in this season) sold illegally as room for guests. After they show us the room they said:” for this room, you have to put 1500 rupees on top of the2500 you already booked”. What? 50€ for this?Unbelievable. We forced to chose this new solution because in Palolem there were no available rooms. The room upstairs was: full of dust, full of mosquito(we waited for one day to get a mosquito net), water tap broken, spider nets, plenty of pictures of owners’ relatives and a terrible smell of pit latrine comes from the bathroom(all typical conditions when nobody lives in a room for 6 months).
Irresponsible behavior Ciaran’s - Goa: One day their dogs, while we are coming back from dinner, assaulted me barking so much and I screamed “help help” no ones around. The last day we asked to maintain the room for some hours more(from checking out 12:00 up to 17:00) willing to pay something on top. The answer to the reception was “ if you want to stay for some hours the price is 4000” what? We took the luggage and we spent 5 hours on the beach waiting for our drivers before to move to Mumbai. I don’t know how is Ciarans during the best season( nov-Feb) maybe everything is fine but if you can change blinding, windows, rooms and whatever you want for sure can’t change the attitude and behavior of the management: incorrect, Unpolite and terrible with guests. Not anymore
