If you are looking for an hybrid laptop at a budget around 40, 000 then I recomend not to Dell Inspiron 3148.
Dell Inspiron 3148 comes with the configuration of(4GB RAM/ 500GB HDD/ Windows 8.1)
firstly, the 4Gb RAM DDR3 is accompained with intel core i3 4th generation processor which is very primitive, and works at a clock speed of 1.7 GHz, too slow, though it is a hybrid laptop in this budget but 4th generation i3 is just bad, as a result the laptop is slow, it opens and closes application very slow. I recommend to go for 7th generation oe 6th Generation AMD A9 or A10 which are easily available at this budget hybrid laptops, and also works much faster.
secondly, the 500GB Hard Disk Drive is just not enough for storage, it also doesnt suits the budget offered.You an easily look for other brands with better storage capacity.
thirdly, I knew the screen will be small, the screen is just 11.6 inches but I noticed the touch screen is not so responsive and often doesn’t respond to my fingers. I have been using Dell for years and I am great fan of Dell but this one is really bad.
fourthly, the touchpad is not very good. The keyboard has given me a lot of problems with it randomly stopping to work. I am not sure if this is the problem in this particular piece or generally its a design flaw but the panel of the keyboard is of poor quality as if I am using a low cost video game. Some of the keys from the middle of the keyboard are not working you have to press multiple times to write, I had to press a single key number of times to make it work.
fifthly, if this was not enough the battery to adds up to its cons, very poor battery back up hardly 4hrs.
