Bought this laptop in 2008. Came with XP 32 bit. It’s now 2020 and it’s still going strong running Windows 7 64 bit. Nothing wrong with it. 12 years later I’ve decided to upgrade the harddrive to a 500Gb, not because it’s failed but because it’s been so long and served me so well I feel the Laptop deserves an upgrade. Currently used for watching movies in the kitchen, hours and hours of dedicated downloading, web surfing, spreadheets etc. Had a heatwave last Christmas. 43 Degrees Celsius for 3 weeks straight and aircon brokedown. Plugged in a USB fan and had it aiming right at the fan outlet and it still worked with no problems. Unbelievably well made machine. I have 2 Dell Latitudes that I bought 10 years ago. They also going strong touch wood.
