I had heard good things about the place from people who frequent it for playing golf so a couple of friends and I decided to check the place out and booked ourselves a “day package” we got there at about noon and from the minute we arrived I realized that this place has a major attitude problem.
We were introduced to a lady (if forget her name) and she just said welcome and said we could roam around and settle in somewhere. She mentioned a sporting area with some indoor games and activities. Well that was about it, then she quickly walked off and we were on our own. We roamed about the place aimlessly for a while till we found the sporting area and were given a rather cold reception at the desk. Nonetheless we continued to sign for using the facilities like the carom board and TT tables and played a few games but about an hour later the place got flooded with another big group of people that occupied everything and left us with nothing to do.
So we walked around hung out by the pool had lunch and bid our time away. I went up to the front desk and asked if we could go to the golf course for a walk the person I was talking to said yes and then suddenly another person at the front desk cut in and just said “Its not allowed” taken a little off guard I asked him to repeat himself and he just said the same thing “Its not allowed” so here I am wondering what is not allowed totally stumped by his rude tone and the fact that he really did not make any sense to me. I asked him to clarify slowly and he just said “you are not allowed on the golf course”
To cut a long story short. (believe me this was just the beginning of our horrible experience there) The whole thing was a bug waste of time and money!
After our tea and snacks we were quickly handed our bill no pleasantries no nothing. When I asked where I should pay. (Whether I should pay at the front desk or here in the restraint) the only reply I got was “Pay Here NOW!”
I lost it and we asked to see the manager, a Mr. Srinivas who I was told was near the pool area and could not come see us. We were asked to call him and speak to him on his cell phone. Well my fiancé called him and asked him to spare five minutes of his precious time to come speak to us.
She gave him a ear full (politely with a lot of positive feedback) which from his body language didn’t bother him at all. In fact all he did was nod and say ok mam. He didn’t even bother to apologize at the end of it.
This place does a horrible job of hospitality and to top it off they don’t even care.If you are looking for a place to spend a week end with friends this is defiantly not the place.
