Let me restrict myself to only the roof top part of Flames. Though they have a great live on the table barbecue and a good lounge, but normally when I go with family, I prefer the rooftop for fresh air and quiet surroundings.
Been their a few times. Good selection of starters.. thanks to their barbeque section and decent variety of wines. Their non veg kebab platter has good varieties and salt & pepper prawns are great. Have some good mocktails for wife and kids.
The captains are somehow always (they keep changing) a little too eager to suggest the alternatives to whatever you want to order and at times you have to tell them firmly that would rather stick to what you ordered. Food is average but they do a mean caramel custard for dessert. There are some games to keep the kids engaged. The washrooms do need improvement.
In the flip side at rooftop, you have to constantly shoo away the cats (There used to be one but this time there were two) and the waiters are of not much help in that. The live ghazal show was good but Id have preferred it to be a little less loud. Overall a good experience... but for the cats. (If you love cats... go for it).
