Pixel 3 XL is undoubtedly a perfect flagship. I've used this phone for some days and this is my thoughts on the pixel 3 XL.
The display is brilliant and sharp but the notch is too big that it can be a negative while playing videos, the notch covers up some of the video part. That's a little annoying for me. And the bottom chin is too big. The front side is not beautiful at all because of the huge notch and the chin. The backside is beautiful because of special pixel device back. It feels premium in hand because of soft touch finish on the back. The pixel is solid phone which survives drops because of powerful gorilla Glass protection. The performance is super smooth because of the flagship processor. You can play PubG in highest graphics settings and works pretty well. Unlike pixel 2 xl, The device doesn't have an issue of RAM management.
Battery life is below average but you do have fast charger as well as wireless charging. It will manage easily if you drop the phone into the water. The speakers are great too. The software is one of the advantage because of Google and it comes with android pie out of box.
Finally lets talk about cameras . I've provided some images shot on Pixel 3 XL. The portrait mode works super fine and the videos shot are buttery smooth. No shakes no noise. It works pretty well in any lighting condition. You can even capture RAW photos with this phone.
I'll definitely recommend buying this one because of great camera, display and more.
