GIMME MORE .... Yeh DIL MAANGE MORE ... Grains of Paradise - on Chamiers Road, R. A Puram in Chennai. It was formerly called Peppers. It is an irresistible combination of excellent food, great ambience and pretty reasonably light on your pocket experience. Been here for the third time today & I have to say that I haven’t come across any other good fine dining restaurant in Chennai before.
Ambience is pretty good. The place is packed most of the times . The food is simply mind blowing with authentic taste. They serve only vegetarian food. Not only Indian food but also Chinese food tastes yum. Portions are large.
The yummy cheese naans ( a must have) , dal makhani, khichdis, mind blowing palak corn dish - oriental etc... are so tasty. Soups are filling and delicious. The food makes you want to go there again and again. I keep trying different mocktails whenever I go there, they are just awesome.
The waiters are friendly and prompt in their service. Pretty reasonable especially for a fine dining experience. I tipped well happily . Even though I am from Bombay (settled in Chennai now ), I m used to different tasty cuisines, I totally love this place
and don’t miss North Indian food because of GOP ( Grains of Paradise)
