Worst hotel accommodation of my life.
Grand Serena is located in beautiful Pondicherry. We are 2 families who have prebooked this hotel with full payment done and checked in yesterday.
This hotel gave us two rooms with wall having seepage, sinking toilets. No in room amenities. Even water, glass, towels not there. Frnt office said clearly that these r the only rooms hey have now either we take or we go back and search fr another hotel. For every service you either have to be a foreigner here or call them several times with them not even responding three to four times you requested them to give you water, glass, etc.
Ofcourse they are dishonest and take customers for granted. Breakfast is pathetic quality. They seem to be serving dogs, not human beings. Thats the kind of food they serve in breakfast . But yes, if you are a foreigner then breakfast will be served to you better.
Cutlery in restaurant is dirty and unhygienic. No tissue papers till they are repeatedly asked for. Hotel staff seem drunk as they easily forget whatever u ask for. Its a shame in the name of Pondicherry. Thankfully today as I write this review, I am checking out of this place.
Will never recommend to anyone who is looking for genuine hotel with an honest staff.
One more thing. If you are eating hee expect flies siting on ur food.

Expect ignorant staff
Expect cheap services by paying huge price.
Cheats and dishonest by heart.
Highly disappointed.
