HTC is one of the mobile phone copanies which has evolved as a strong player in the market. It is known for making some really good mobiel phones with the most advanced technologies and attactive looks. I used to own an HTC Desire V 2 years back. Trust me when I say that the phone was completely awesome and the best in its range. The look of the phone was mindblowing, and it was the only phone in its range which was so cool.
Let me speak on the specifications of the phone – Its screen was 4.67 inch big, dual sim phone, Android(Ice cream sandwhich) OS, 4GB internal storage, extendadble upto 32 gb, 512mb RAM, wi-fi enables, inbuilt Beats Audio enabled, dropbox with 25 gb cloud storage, Li-Ion 1650 mAh battery and available in white and black colours.
I bought the phone for Rs12800 in March 2013 and used it until Feb 2014. I had a White coloured phone. This was the first time that I was using an HTC phone and I dint have any major complaints with it. The phone worked absolutely smoothly, and hardly hanged. It would hardly heated up a lot, like Sony or Samngsung phones. I have also heard people complaining about Nokia phones heating up way too much and then hanging. But my phone hardle hanged. But truly speaking, I never loaded my phone with a lot of heavy apps and never stored a lot of data. This may be one reason why my phone never hanged or heated up way too much.
The only problems I had with my phone and its accessories is that my phone never supported Whatsapp for a long time. And the app would hang and not work properly in my phone. Also, I had to exchange my ear phones thrice since one side of the earphone would stop working strangely, even after using properly. Except for this, there were’nt any other problems with the phone.
